Ashcroft Anthony have appointed James Doggett to the newly created post of Corporate Tax Director.

James trained and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with a ‘Big Four’ firm, before qualifying as a Chartered Tax Advisor with one of the Top Five firms of accountants and tax advisors.

Known in the Cambridge area for his work servicing the R&D claims of a number of local biotech and engineering businesses, he also helps a number of leading Mayfair based Hedge funds with complex corporate tax planning and tax issue resolution.

James’ work covers many areas of taxation but he has extensive experience of tax efficient remuneration, successful capital allowances claims, and he has helped a number of businesses’ structure acquisitions and disposals.

At Ashcroft Anthony James will focus on providing innovative tax solutions to small and large businesses alike.
